James M. Gibson, 70, a resident of Russellville died Sunday, November 18, 2007, at Saint Mary’s Regional Medical Center.
He was born December 29, 1936, in Treat, Arkansas to Samuel Marlin and Ollie Mae Hull Gibson. He was preceded in death by his parents, and a sister, Gladys Jeffries.
Survivors include his wife of 44 years, Freda Gibson of Russellville; two sons and daughters-in-law, Steve and Judy Gibson of Russellville, and Sam and Jacquelyn Gibson of Dallas, Texas; three daughters, Peggy Eichenberger, Sandra Gibson and Jazmyn Gibson, all of Russellville; two sisters and brothers-in-law, Faye and Bill Abernathy of Russellville and Vonnie and Hurlan Muncy of Appleton; a brohter-in-law, James Jeffries of Russellville; seven grandchildren; three great grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Active pallbearers were Randy Gibson, Daniel Gibson, Ryan Gibson, Chris Duran, Caleb Damon, and Rusty Linn. Honorary pallbearers will be Price Carlton, Ray Martin, Dennis Lowe and the Blackstone Construction Company.
