He was the son of the late William and Augie Turner McFaddin. He was a US Army Veteran of World War II, and a member of the Atkins United Methodist Church. He was also preceded in death by two sisters, Bessie Fengler and Elizabeth Hickman.
Survivors include his wife of 53 years, Buna Gibson, of Atkins; a son and daughter-in-law, Willliam and Lisa Gibson of Atkins; a daughter and son-in-law, Laura and Joe Bunch of Mena; two sisters, Kitty Bowden and Margaret Helen Cheek of Overland Park, KS, and grandchildren, Russell Gibson, Molly Gibson, Jake Bunch and Bailey Bunch.
