Marie Wilson, age 82, of Morrilton, passed away Wednesday, February 17, 2010. She was born November 5, 1927 in Kansas City, Missouri, a daughter of John Jordan and Bertha Verhoff Jordan. She was the widow of Charles Ruie "C.R." Wilson. She was a retired seamstress with Levi-Strauss and was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star and attended Bald Knob Missionary Baptist Church.
Survivors include her son, Lyle Scott Wilson and wife, Janet of Morrilton; brothers, Richard Jordan, Henry Jordan, and Norman Jordan all of Kansas City, Missouri; sisters, Jeanette Littau and Barbara Carter both of Kansas City, Missouri; grandchildren, Evan Shelton and wife, Heather of Conway; Brandon Wilson of Morrilton; John Kellar and wife, Megan of Morrilton; great-grandchildren, Parker, Tanner, and Chaselyn Shelton of Conway, and Braydon Wilson of Morrilton.
Funeral services will be 10:00 a.m. Saturday, February 20, at the Harris Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Dwight Scott officiating. Burial will be at Mt. Pleasant Cemetery by Harris Funeral Home of Morrilton.
Charles Ruie "C.R." Wilson, 91, of Morrilton, passed away Thursday, December 27, 2007. He was born December 11, 1916 in Elba, Arkansas, a son of Benjamin Franklin Wilson and Lou Vena Grant Wilson. Mr. Wilson was a cattle farmer and of the Baptist faith. He was a 32nd degree Mason, member of Solgohachia Masonic Lodge #722, Plumerville Masonic Lodge #253, Garland Chapter O.E. S. #414, and Damascus Chapter O.E.S. #515.
He is survived by his wife, Marie Jordan Wilson of Morrilton; son, Lyle Scott Wilson and wife, Janet of Morrilton; sister, Irene Charton and husband, Wayne of Morrilton; grandchildren, Heather Shelton and husband, Evan of Olatha, Kansas; Brandon Wilson, and Megan Wilson and husband John all of Morrilton; great-great-grandchildren, Parker, Tanner and Chaselyn Shelton of Olathe, Kansas; Braydon Wilson of Morrilton. He was preceded in death by his brothers, D.C. Wilson and Doyle Wilson, and nephew, Jimmy Dale Wilson.
Funeral services will be 1:00 p.m. Monday, December 31, at the Harris Chapel with Bro. Rufus Crawford officiating. Burial will be at Mt. Pleasant Cemetery by Harris Funeral Home of Morrilton. The family will receive friends 3:00-5:00 p.m. Sunday, at the funeral home.
