Thomas F. Hively age 81 of Batesville died Dec. 27 in a Batesville hospital. Born in Baxter County, he was a member of the Faith Cumberland Presbyterian Church.
Survivors include his widow, Elsie Snellgrove Hively of the home, one son T. J. Hively of Little Rock; seven daughters, Mrs. Erma Langston, Mrs. Nelson Southard and Mrs. Mason Southard of Rodney, Mrs. Keith Russell of Mtn. Home, Mrs. Desmon Southard of Charksville, three sisters, Mrs. Martha Hunter of Judsonia, Mrs. Janie Russell of Calif. and Mrs. Dena Rader of Okla.; ten grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
Services were Dec. 29 in Batesville and at Wayland Arbor with Rev. John Kron officiating. Burial was in Wayland Arbor Cemetery by Crouch Funeral Home.
Pallbearers were Howard Rand, Glenn Friend, Robert Skidmore, James Southard, David and Dennie Langston.
