Thelma R. Lackey

Mrs. Thelma Ruby Lackey, 39, of Norfork, a lifetime resident of the area, died Tuesday of last week at a Springfield (MO) hospital.
She is survived by her husband, Danny B. Lackey and three sons, Floyd Dean, Gary Lynn and James Edward Lackey, all of Norfork; four daughters, Mrs. Betty Agness Stewart of Springfield and Donna Marie, Janice Sue and Linda Darlene Lackey, all of Norfork; a brother Melvin Dickerson of Forrest City; a sister Mrs. Alta Reynolds of Kansas City, MO; her grandfather Homer Daniels and a grandson.
The daughter of the late Charles Eddy Dickerson and Agness Daniels Dickerson, Mrs. Lackey was born April 22, 1930, at Wild Cherry (Fulton Co.). She was married August 19, 1950.
Funeral services were conducted Friday at the Galatia Mdthodist Church, near Norfork, with Bro. Johnny Evans officiating. Interment was in Galatia Cemetery, under the direction of Mcclure Service.
Pallbearers were Herbert Daniels, Seth Dickerson, Orval Lackery, Coleman Lackey, Luther Spoon and Don Lackey.
