James David "Buck" Pruitt son of Felix Jackson "Jack" Pruitt and Martha A (Bunch) Pruitt. Anna Mae "Annie" (Hall) Pruitt daughter of John Cantrell Hall and Atlanta "Oshia" (Etheridge) Hall. Buck was born in Baxter County, Arkansas died in Calico Rock, Izard County, Arkansas. Annie was born in Rodney, Baxter County, Arkansas died in Calico Rock, Izard County, Arkansas.
**obituary: The White River Current, Calico Rock, Arkansas, November 8, 1979:
Mrs. Anna Mae Hall Pruitt, aged 80 of Calico Rock, widow of James Pruitt died Wednesday, Oct 31, 1979. She was a Methodist.
Survivors are three sons; Phines Darrell Pruitt of Wichita, Kan., Vance J. Pruitt of Calico Rock and Jackie Ray Pruitt of Pineville; three daughters, Mrs. Georgia Evern Wallen of Wichita, Kan., Mrs. Joyce Davis of Elizabeth and Mrs. Gretta Jane Hall of North Little Rock, 17 grandchildren and eight-great-grandchildren.
Funeral was Friday by Howard Funeral Home of Calico Rock. Burial was at Wayland Arbor Cemetery, near Dolph.
Pallbearers were Hector Vazquez, Leon Adams, Mark Hall, James Hall, Gerald Wood and Johnny Duggins.
