Mrs. Mary Etta Pierce, 77, of 531 Huntsville, died this morning at a local hospital. Born Sept. 23, 1894, at Durham, she was the daughter of Tom and Harriet Stout Gobel, and was a member of the Pencostal Temple Church.
Survivors are her husband, Jim Pierce of the home; one son, Ernest of Fayetteville; two daughters, Mrs. Erma Thompson of Wichita, Kan., and Mrs. Ruby Hunter of Fort Worth, Tex.; four grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
Funeral service will be at 2 p.m. Friday at the Pentecostal Temple with burial in Buckner Cemetery under direction of Nelson's Funeral Home.
