L. Ada Combs, 95, of Fayetteville, died Saturday, April 8, 1989, in a Rogers hospital. Born Oct. 24, 1893, in Madison County, the daughter of Albert R. and Martha Reed Clark, she was a homemaker, a member of the church of Christ and a lifetime resident of the area.
Survivors are four sons, Burl Combs of Whittier, Calif., Paul Combs of Fayetteville, Clinton Combs and James R. Combs, both of Elkins; two daughters, Billie Joe Duncan of Elkins, and Gertie Reynolds of Fayetteville; a brother, Jim Clark of Elkins; two sisters, Zola Shumate of Yuba City, Calif., and Myrtle King of Fayetteville; 29 grandchildren, and several great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
Funeral will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Moore's Chapel with burial in Buckner Cemetery.

Funeral services for William D. Combs, 57, who died February 13, will be held tomorrow at 11 a.m. at the Church of Christ in Baldwin. Burial, under direction of the Nelson-Savage Funeral Home, will be in the Patrick* cemetery.
