Kenneth Edward English, 75, of Altus died Saturday, March 19, 2011, in Fort Smith.
He was a native of Paris, son of the late George E. and Annie May Sumner English, retired employee of Jim Vardaman Furniture Store, and was preceded in death by one granddaughter, Brandy Harris.
Survivors include his wife, Sue Hyder English; one daughter, Brenda Phillips and husband, Randy, of Subiaco; two sons, Kenneth Ray English and wife, Juanita, of Ozark and Gary English and wife, Gwen, of Altus; one sister, Linda Whightsil and husband, Keith, of Topeka, Kan.; 14 grandchildren; and 15 great-grandchildren.
Funeral was at 10 a.m. Tuesday, March 22, at Shaffer Funeral Home Chapel in Ozark with Rev. Chuck Starnes officiating. Burial was in Nichols Chapel Cemetery in Altus.
