September 25, 1921 - August 14, 2005
Wayne D (Dutch) Rowlett, 86 of Wooster, passed away on Thursday August 14, 2008. Born in the Bono Community on September 25, 1921, he was a son of the late Timothy O. and Sudie (Smith) Rowlett. Wayne was a WWII veteran having served with the Army Air Corp and was a prisoner of war, imprisoned at Stalag 17B. He was a structural iron worker and farmer who enjoyed vegetable gardening and fox hunting. He was a member of the Bono Baptist Church and East Fork Masonic Lodge # 327. His previously mentioned parents, step-mother Inez Rowlett, one brother Smith Rowlett and one grandchild preceded him in death.
Left to mourn his memory are his wife of 59 years Lois (Hutchins) Rowlett; four sons: Mike and wife Judy, Larry and wife Rhonda, Tim and wife Terri all of Greenbrier and Pat and wife Beverly of Mason, TN; two sisters; Ellouise Jeffcoat and Paulette Rowe; two brothers Wade Rowlett and Joe Rowlett; eleven grandchildren; three great-grandchildren and many friends and neighbors.
Pallbearers were Glenn Rowlett, Ricky Rowlett, Leon Jeffcoat, Ryan Stacks, Luke Rowlett and Chad Upton. Honorary pallbearers are Justin Blair, Jason Baker, Clark Hutchins, Vernon Hutchins, Larry Hargrove and Tom Stanton.
On July 12, 2011 Mrs. Lois Rowlett, 86, of Greenbrier, left her worldly family to take her place with her heavenly father. She was born on March 27, 1925, at Pine Mountain, Arkansas, to the late John and Lida (Loyd) Hutchins. Lois was of the Baptist Faith and was a member of Bono Baptist Church. Mrs. Rowlett was a loving spouse, mother, and homemaker. She retired with twenty years of service as a supervisor at the Conway Human Development Center. In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her husband of 60 years, Wayne “Dutch” Rowlett; nine brothers and sisters and one grandchild.
Mrs. Rowlett is survived by four sons, Mike (Judy), Larry (Rhonda) and Tim (Terri) all of Greenbrier and Pat (Beverly) of Mason, TN; one sister, Bertha Allen of North Little Rock; eleven grandchildren, Luke Rowlett, Leigh Erin Stacks (Ryan), Hannah Rowlett, Heather Jackson (Jeremy), April Baker (Jason), Kimberly Blair (Justin), Casie Upton (Chad), Nikki Rowlett, Amber Rowlett, Paige Rowlett, and Jeff Rowlett; and seven great grandchildren.
