Jay L. Avey 1940 - 2006 Mountain View, Ark.
Services for Jay L. Avey, 66, Mountain View, were Friday at Roller Crouch Chapel in Mountain View. Burial will be in Levisy Flat Cemetery in Mountain View. Mr. Avey died Monday, June 5, 2006, in Batesville, AR. He was born May 14, 1940, in Newnata, AR, the son of Willie J. and Dimple Trammell Avey. Mr. Avey served in the U.S. Navy. He worked as a truck driver and was a member of Church of Christ. He married Lois Burns. She survives, of the home. Other survivors include his mother, Eudora; a son, Timothy J., Alaska; a brother, Ken, Eudora; two sisters, Delores Gabriel and Sharon Lawson, both of Eudora; and a grandchild. Family visitation today at the chapel. Memorials to AmVets, Mountain View, AR.
