Cordie was 23 when he filled out his WWI draft card. At that time he was single and lived in Sidney, NE. He was a Brakeman for the Union Pacific Railroad. His draft card says that he was tall and slender with brown hair and brown eyes.
"World War Veteran - Dearest brother, thou hast left us. Here, they loss we deeply feel, But 'tis God that hath bereft us, He can all our sorrows heal"
