Kitty Ruth Eaton, 93, of Huntsville, Arkansas, died October 11, 2009 at the Northwest Medical Center-Springdale. She was born March 29, 1916 at Capps, Arkansas, the daughter of William Clayton Powell and Ethel Marie Jamison Sanders. She was a homemaker and a nursing assistant, having worked for many years at the Madison County Hospital and Springdale Memorial Hospital. She was a member of the First Assembly of God Church in Huntsville and the widow of George Carl Eaton who preceded her in death on July 12, 1975. She was also preceded in death by one sister, Hurma Blaska Spradling.
Survivors include: one son, Donald Wayne Eaton of Witter, Arkansas; one daughter and son-in-law, Delores and Arthur Olson of Springdale, Arkansas; one niece, Wanda Yates of Sand Springs, Oklahoma; eight grandchildren; thirteen great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at 10:00 A. M. Wednesday, October 14, at the First Assembly of God Church in Huntsville with The Reverends Butch Bolinger and Doug McClure officiating. Interment will be in the Big Sandy Cemetery under the direction of Brashears Funeral Home www.brashearsfuneralhome.net of Huntsville, Arkansas. Pallbearers will be: Arthur Olson, John Eaton, Marcus Ames, Steve Eaton, Brandon Morgan and Britt Rhodes. Honorary pallbearers will be: James Eaton, Zachery Gates, Randy Shinn, Chad Kammerzell, Harold Womack, Floyd Womack and Levi Seymour. The family will receive friends from 6:00 P. M. to 8:00 P. M. on Tuesday at the funeral home.
