Ralph Levy McCracken, 80, of Cotter died Friday at Baxter General Hospital.
A lifetime resident of this area, McCracken was born April 23, 1894 in Peel. He was the son of Mr. and Mrs. Richmond McCracken.
He was married to the former Ora V. Hodges on Feb. 4, 1922.
McCracken is survived by his wife, two sons, Milburn McCracken of Gassville and Jurel McCracken of Blue Springs, Mo.; one daughter, Mrs. Shirley Lack of Gassville; one brother, William McCracken of Flippin; three sisters, Mrs. Helen Osborn of Wetumka, Okla., Mrs. Lula Sanders of Phoenix, Ariz., and Mrs. Cora Moore of Flippin; seventeen grandchildren and four great grandchildren. He was preceeded in death by three sons.
Funeral services for McCracken were held Sunday at the Pilgrims Rest Baptist Church with Rev. Randy Shipman and Rev. Estel Grigg officiating. Burial was in Pilgrims Rest Cemetery with Roller Funeral Home in charge.
Pallbeares included Chuck Morrow, Lee Humphrey, R. H. Hurst, Roger Trimble, Steve Poynter and Bill Johnson.
McCracken was a veteran of World War I.
