Erma Lee McCracken, age 81, of Gassville, Arkansas, died Thursday, February 14, 2008, at her residence. She was born June 8, 1926, at Mountain Home, Arkansas, to Marshall W. and Ivon Duggins Knight and was a lifetime area native. On October 28, 1946, she married Milburn McCracken at Monkey Run, Arkansas. Mrs. McCracken was a homemaker, a Methodist, and enjoyed sewing, reading and raising flowers.
Survivors are: four sons: Darrell (Donna) McCracken: Mountain Home; David (Evelyn) McCracken: Flippin; Dale (Colleen) McCracken: Oakland; and Richard (Rebecca) McCracken: Flippin; a daughter: Glenda (Ken) Hunnell) Lakeview; two brothers: Jimmy (Carol Sue) Knight: Gassville; and Claudie (Judy) Knight: Mountain Home; four sisters: Lou Loving, Bessie (T.J.) Henderson, and Nancy (Joey) Crawford: all of Mountain Home; and Jessie (Harold) Flippin: Fairview; nine grandchildren: Ramey McCracken; Jamie Lovitt; Dane McCracken; Torie Trammell; Ethan Layton; Levi and Dalton McCracken; Adrianne Dunn; and Kimberly Hunnell; and a host of nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; and four brothers.
