O.D. Easterling, 82, of Springdale, died May 10, 1998, at Springdale. He was born June 6, 1915 at Wharton Creek, the son of Jahue and Lula Easterling. He was a teacher/principal of Huntsville School District for 43 years. He was a member of the Church of Christ.
Survivors include his wife, Betty Jo Easterling of Springdale; one son and his wife, Bob & Francis Easterling of Huntsville; two daughters and one son-in-law, Edwin and Dena Jones of Springdale and Terri Seaton of Tallahassee, Florida; six grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
Graveside services will be held at 2 p.m., Thursday, May 14, 1998, at Fairview Memorial Gardens in Fayetteville with Arthur Nally officiating.
