Funeral services for Norma Lee Easterling, 11, who died Wednesday morning, October 29 at the County hospital at Fayetteville, from burns received Tuesday afternoon, were conducted Thursday afternoon at 2 o'clock at the Free Will Baptist church here. Rev. Cecil Garrison and Rev. Tommy Day officiated. Burial was in the cemetery here under the direction of the Brashears Funeral Home.
Norma Lee was born July 12, 1941 in Madison county, the daughter of Olen Easterling and Dixie Williams Easterling.
Besides her parents, she is survived by two sisters, Freda and Reba Lou, and one brother, Gerald of the home; her paternal grandparents, Hosea Easterling and Mrs. Flora Burgess of Huntsville, her maternal grandmother, Mrs. Sarah Williams of Boston and other relatives.
Pallbearers were Arlis Inman, Booker Hawley, Winford Phillips and Raymond Phillips.
