ROSE, P.T. – {from Johnson} P.T. Rose died Monday evening after a lingering illness of some five weeks or more. Mr. Rose has resided here for years and has been on o four best citizens. He leaves a wife and several children to mourn his demise. The interment will be at Shady Grove cemetery this evening.

ROSE, Taylor – Died at his home four miles south of town on Monday evening at six o'clock, Taylor Rose. Congestion of the stomach was the immediate cause of his death. Mr. Rose was in hid fiftieth year at the time of his death and was one of the oldest settlers in this county. He leaves a wife and six children. The funeral services were held at the Shady Grove church and were conducted by Elder Hale of this city to whom were are indebted for the above particulars. In the death of Mr. Rose Washington county loses one of its most respected citizens.
