Married C. L. Wolford, September 29, 1913, Independence County, Arkansas.
Mrs. Meddie Wolford
Mrs. Meddie Johnson Wolford, age 85, of Franklin passed away Jan. 18 in a Salem hospital. She was a housewife and a member of the Church of Christ.
Survivors include two step-sons, Earl Wolford of Wash., and Noah Wolford of Texas; two daughters, Mrs. Iba Ramsey of Franklin and Mrs. Claudie Clark of Wash.; one step-daughter, Mrs. Rosie Herron of Wash.; one sister, Mrs. Ollie Smith of Memphis, 15 grandchildren and 17 step-grandchildren.
Services were Jan. 20, at the Franklin Church of Christ with John H. Cannon, Jr. officiating. Burial was at Violet Hill Cemetery with Crouch Funeral Home in charge.
Pallbearers were Charles Ramsey, Jr., Bob Blue, Rudell Sipe, Travis Blevins, J. R. Humphries, and Michael Sipe.
