The Rev. William Andrew Fitzgerald, b. Oct 10, 1851, Forsyth County, GA; d. July 28, 1941, Amity, AR. Married Louise Jane Dillard, Oct. 10, 1879, Point Cedar, AR. Louise (Louisa) Dillard-Fitzgerald, b. April 16, 1864, Hot Spring County, AR; d. June 4, 1954 at the home of her daughter Mary "Mollie" Fitzgerald-Martin, Amity, Clark County, AR. Rev. Fitzgerald was a minister of the Amity Methodist Episcopal Church and a circuit riding preacher for the American Sunday School Union in Southwest Arkansas. He was a veteran of the American Indian Wars, serving in the 6th Cavalry, US Army from 1872-1878.
