Gravette -- Elmer Newton Hampton, 87, of Sulphur
Springs, died Sunday at the Gravette Medical Center Hospital. He was born Sept. 17, 1877 in Van Wert, Iowa and had lived in Gravette for the past 25 years. He was a refired mail carrier and a member of the Methodist church.
Survivors include the widow, Mrs. Ida Ruth Hampton of the home.
Funeral will he at 2 p. m. Wednesday in the Pyeatte Chapel at Gravette. Burial in the Butler Greek Cemetery.
