ROGERS — Helen Marie Hampton, 80, of Rogers, Ark., passed away, Thursday, Feb. 27, 2014 in Rogers. She was born Jan. 14, 1934, in Okemah, Okla., to the late Clarence and Jackie Copeland.

She volunteered at New Hope Rehab and loved doing crafts and working in her garden. A dedicated Christian, she witnessed at every opportunity and always listened to anyone in need and was loved by many.

Helen had a great love for her children, was the rock of the family, and was a devoted mother, grandmother and great-grandmother.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Glen Hampton; brother, Gene Copeland; granddaughter, Tiffany Crawford; and son-in-law, Trooper Repass.

Helen is survived by three daughters, Kathy Ann McCutcheon and husband, J. Bruce, of Gentry, Ark., Sonja Brannon and husband, Bill, of Prairie Grove, Ark., Glenda Repass of Gravette, Ark.; one brother, Herschel Copeland of Pearl River, La.; four grandchildren, James McCutcheon, Mark McCutcheon, Jennifer Kappen, Kenny Baumgarten; and 10 great-grandchildren.

Her family loved her deeply and will miss her more than words can express. We will see you again, "our sweet Mama."

A visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. Friday, March 7, 2014, at Stockdale-Moody Funeral Services.

Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. Saturday, March 8, 2014, at Stockdale-Moody Funeral Chapel in Rogers, with the Rev. Herschel Copeland officiating. Burial will follow in Old Liberty Cemetery in Garfield, Ark.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Stockdale-Moody Funeral Services in Rogers.
