Mrs. Essie M. Strain, 86, of Concord, died Wednesday, May 27, 1992 at Central Arkansas Hospital.
She was born July 23, 1905 in Texas and has lived in Concord since 1960.
She was a homemaker and a member of General Baptist Church.
Services will be 2 p.m. Saturday, May 30, 1992 at Concord General Baptist Church. Burial will be at Concord Cemetery.
Survivors include sons, Jim Strain, Weldon Strain, and Ray Strain, all of Concord, and Charles Strain of Little Rock; Daughters, Fran Reynolds of Griffithville, Mary Jane Elkins of Rose Bud, and Sue Jimerson of Greers Ferry; brother, Robert Watson of Ft. Worth, Texas; sister, Mary Ewing of Corsicana, Texas; 27 grandchildren; and 33 great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her husband; Charlie H. Strain, October 10, 1961.
