SKAGGS, Sarah M. - Mrs. Sarah M. Skaggs died Tuesday afternoon at the home of her son, Joseph {"Dode"}, in this city, aged 88 years, March 29 last, having been born in 1834. Mrs. Skaggs had resided in Benton county 40 years, several years at Rogers. She leaves 3 sons, James, George, and Joseph, all of Gravette, and one daughter, Mrs. Harriet Edna Johnson, of Muskogee, Okla. The funeral was held at the Holiness tent, where the meeting is in progress, Wednesday afternoon, in charge of Revs. Mitchell and Killingsworth. Burial in the I.O.O.F. cemetery. Sympathy is extended the bereaved family.
