Elsie M. Douglas, age 92, of Mountain Home, Arkansas, passed away Monday, October 11, 2010, at her residence.

She was born August 8, 1918, in Mountain Home, to George Lawson and Ona Belle Wadkins Cox. A lifetime area native, Mrs. Douglas was a member of the Mountain Home Church of Christ and served as a sales clerk for 32 years with the Rowlands Clothing Store. She enjoyed gardening and quilting.

Survivors are a son: James C. Douglas: Mountain Home; a daughter: Lorene Miller (and husband Russell): Mountain Home; five grandchildren: Mike, Steve and Regina Holland; Jimmy Douglas and Janice Sallee; several great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, and many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband James Earl Douglas; five brothers; five sisters and four great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be from Noon-9:00 P.M. Thursday with the family receiving friends from 6-8:00 P.M. at Roller Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be 2:00 P.M. Friday in the Roller Chapel with Brother Ken Burton officiating. Interment will be in Douglass Cemetery.
