JENKINS, Walter Sylvester - We regret very much to chronicle the death of Walter Sylvester, the bright little son of Mr. and Mrs. Glen Jenkins, who passed away Tuesday, Feb. 28 at 2 p.m. after several days sickness with bronchial pneumonia, aged 5 years, 5 months and 8 days, having been born Sept. 20, 1905. The little fellow was a patient sufferer and toward the end he seemed to know he was to go and he clasped his hands around his mother's neck and told her "good bye." The funeral was conducted at the home in the west part of town Wednesday at 3 p.m. by Eld. Smith and interment was made at the I.O.O.F. cemetery. Indeed many join with the News-Herald in extending sympathy to the bereaved.
