JENKINS, Archer - It is with regret that we chronicle the sad death of Archer Jenkins, who died at his father's home one mile west of this city last Sunday morning. It seems that Saturday evening Arch went down to the branch to wash off the buggy and pulled off his shoes and waded around in the water. Inflammatory rheumatism was the result and he died from the disease the following morning. He was a promising youth, 15 years of age, and was a student of the Bentonville public school. Funeral services were held at the C.P. church Monday at 2 p.m. and immediately afterwards the remains were buried in Odd Fellows cemetery. We extend our sympathy to those who mourn his loss.
