Darrell Wayne Watson
January 20, 1950 - September 19, 1999

Darrell Wayne Watson, son of Alta Jeffery Marchant and the late Linzie Watson, was born January 20, 1950, in Calico Rock. He died September 19, 1999, in Mountain Home, He was 49.

Mr. Watson was a graduate of Calico Rock High School. Before he became disabled, he worked as a construction worker. He was a member of the Calico Rock Baptist Church.

Survivors include his mother and step-father, Alta and Tom Marchant of Calico Rock; one daughter, Misty Watson of Calico Rock; one brother, Bob Watson of Somerset, Kentucky; his grandmother, Marie Marchant of Calico Rock; one nephew, Jason Watson of Kansas City, Kansas; and a host of other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his father, one niece and one nephew.

Funeral services were held September 21, 1999, at the Calico Rock Funeral Chapel with Reverend Gale Wooten officiating. Pallbeareres were Bob Franks, Bill Franks, Austin Reeves, John Dixon, Terry Jenkins, and Larry Stapleton. Honorary pallbeareres were Lester White, Wilber Uchtman, and Rusty Shull.

Interment was in Roselawn Cemetery in Calico Rock under the direction of Eddie's Family Funeral Home in Calico Rock.
