Josie Watson, age 80, of Wenatchee, WA, died Thurs., Jan. 13, 1994 at Cashmere Convalescent Center.
She was born to Joe H. and Callie O'Neal Jones on Aug. 23, 1913 at Melbourne. She married Homer Watson on Oct. 11, 1930 at Melbourne. She was a member of the Church of Christ. She and Joe lived in Melbourne after retirement, but she returned to Wenatchee after his death.
Survivors include two brothers, Noel Jones, Wenatchee, WA, and Floyd Jones of E. Wenatchee; one sister Bessie Neel of Chelsea, OK. She was preceded in death by her husband, parents and three brothers.
Funeral services were Wed., Jan. 19 at the Church of Christ in Melbourne with Pastor Chuck Crow officiating. Burial was in the Melbourne Cemetery under the direction of Howard Funeral Home of Melbourne.
Pallbearers were Shelby Qualls, Bill Roland, Ronnie Loggains, James Loggains, Jim Miller and Roger Jones. Honorary pallbearer was John Copeland.
