Flora Mellonee Bennett, of Ozark(Franklin County), Arkansas, died Friday, May 9, 2008, in Ozark. She was 86 years old. Ms. Bennett was born in 1921 in Driggs(Logan County), Arkansas. She was the daughter of the late Perry and Bessie Alvaro(Phillips)Davis. She was a homemaker and a member of the Roseville Baptist Church.
Ms. Bennett was preceded in death by her parents; her husband of 40 years: Henry Bennett; two sons: Donald and Noble Bennett; three grandchildren: Chelsey, Shane, and Christopher Bennett; and one great-grandchild: Matthew Holt.
She is survived by five sons: Greg Bennett and his wife, Jan of Hot Springs Village, Arkanas, Gaylon Bennett of Paris, Arkansas, Roger Bennett and his wife, Lisa of Hot Springs Village, Arkansas, Gary Bennett and his wife, Paula of Hot Springs Village, Arkansas, and Norman Bennett and his wife Sissi, also of Hot Springs Village, Arkansas; two daughter: Camilla Gattis and her husband, Guy of Ozark, Arkansas and Sheila Moore and her husband, Gary of Jessieville, Arkansas; 24 wonderful grandchildren; and 31 precious great-grandchildren; plus 1 very special great-great-grandchild.
Funeral service was held on Monday, May 12, 2008 at 3:00p.m. in the Roseville Baptist Church.
Pallbearers were: Norman Bennet, Gary Bennett, Roger Bennett, Gaylon Bennett, Greg Bennet, Guy Gattis, and Gary Moore.
Honorary pallbearers were her grandchildren.
