Betty Lois Bennett, age 79, of Ozark, Arkansas, died Thursday, June 20, 2014 in Ozark.
She was a Homemaker and an in-home caretaker, a lifelong resident of Franklin County, a member of First Baptist Church of Ozark, and member of the Ozark Garden Club.
She was born April 18, 1935 in the Cravens Community at Ozark to Sam and Juanita Satterfield Owen. She was preceded in death by her husband Conley Bennett and a son William Bennett.
She is survived by two daughters: Terri Moyer of Ozark and Sherri Bredemeier of Bern, KS; five sons: David of Kansas City, KS; Robert "Bob", of Ozark; John of Ozark; Raymond of Particular, MO; Harlan "Keith" of Lees Summit, MO; a brother, Robert Don Owen of Alix, AR; eighteen grandchildren; and twenty-one great grandchildren.
Funeral service was held, June 21, 2014 at Shaffer Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend John Bennett and Reverend Rusty Pearson officiating; burial will be at Rankin Cemetery, under direction of Shaffer Funeral Home of Ozark.
Serving as pallbearers are sons, David, Bob, John, Raymond, Keith Bennett, and grandson Billy Bennett. Honorary pallbearers are Tom Moyer and Brian Bredemeier.
