Mr. A. P. Burch, Sr., 83, of Warren died Saturday, March 22, 2003, at his residence. A native of Fountain Hill and a Warren resident since 1956, he was a retired farmer and an U. S. Army veteran of World War II. He was preceded in death by his wife, Katherine Burch; a daughter, Joann Baggett; his parents, Levie and Georgia Thomas Burch; and a grandson, Paul Anthony Burch.
Survivors include five sons, Donnie Charles Burch of Warren, Jerry Wayne Burch of Grady, Grady Lee Burch, A. P. Burch, Jr., and Ronald Burch; a daughter, Judy Pat Burch, all of Warren; two sisters, Elizabeth White and Mildrene Scarbrough, both of Warren; and 19 grandchildren.
A private burial was held Sunday, March 24, at the Deal Cemetery with arrangements by Jones-Hartshorn Funeral Home of Hamburg.
