Sam William Dickey the husband of Zada Jewell (Webb) Dickey. She the daughter of Everett Webb and Essie (Brown) Webb.

Zada Jewel Dickey, 84, of Walnut Ridge, died March 22, 2015, at Lawrence
Memorial Hospital. Born July 4, 1930, in Walnut Ridge, she was the daughter of Everett and Essie Brown Webb.

She taught school for 30 years at Walnut Ridge, Stuttgart and Fayetteville, with the majority of her teaching years spent at Walnut Ridge. She was a member of Beta Sigma Phi, the Lawrence County Library Board, the Lawrence County Cemetery Board and was a Senior Democratic delegate for Lawrence County. She was a member of First Baptist Church in Walnut Ridge.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Sam Dickey, whom she married June 13, 1954.

Survivors include two daughters, Edna Clyde White and husband Stephen, Chatham, Ill., and Susan Jackson and husband Mike, Walnut Ridge; a brother, Tom Webb, Memphis; four grandchildren, Samantha McGee, Katie White, Thomas Jackson and Curtis Jackson; and two great-grandchildren.

Visitation was held Monday evening. The funeral was Tuesday at 10 a.m. at Cox Funeral Home.

Burial was in Lawrence Memorial Park with Jake Guenrich officiating.

Pallbearers were Craig Williams, Brad Williams, Dennis Coggins, Billy Ray James, Chris McGee and Curtis Jackson.
