Winford Dickey, 87 of Little Rock passed away Wednesday, April 7, 2021. He was born July 16, 1933 in Leslie, Arkansas to Marvin and Frankie Liles Dickey Simmons. He was a retired house painter.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Tula Dickey; one daughter, Marianne Lancaster; and two granddaughters, Kimberly Dancy and Amy Harris.

Survivors include three daughters, Marva Watson (Lewis) of Texas, Susan Carpenter (Dennis) of Jacksonville and Tammy Harris (James) of Little Rock; three brothers, Delano Dickey of Newark, O’Neil Dickey of Batesville and Jackie Simmons (Linda) of Newark; 9 grandchildren; 16 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandchild; and a host of other relatives and friends.

Graveside services will be Friday, April 9, 2021 at 2:00 p.m. at the Ward Cemetery in Strawberry with Cheyne Newberry officiating. Arrangements are by Qualls Batesville Funeral Service.
