Betty Sue Harrison Parker, 72 of Star City, passed away Tuesday, November 27, 2018 at her home.

She was born July 24, 1946 in Lincoln County to the late Harold H. and Lillian Woodruff Harrison.

She was a member of Southside Missionary Baptist Church, was the retired owner and operator of Parker’s Restaurant in Star City and Monticello and a graduate of Grady High School.

Also preceding her in death was her husband, William Parker; and 2 brothers, Rodger Dale Harrison and Jimmy Lynn Harrison.

Survivors include her daughter, Billie Sue (Mike Henley) Parker; 2 sisters, Alice (Jerry) Shumake and Kay Harrison; bonus sister, Brenda Harrison; 4 brothers, Harold G. (Jane) Harrison, Jerry Wayne (Deborah) Harrison, Johnny Lee (Crystal) Harrison and Billy Joe (Vickie) Harrison, all of Star City; 2 granddaughters, Jaci Edwards of White Hall and Kendall Edwards of Dumas; brother-in-law, Bob (Chris) Parker of Star City; special companion, Brian Abney of Star City; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Funeral services are 2:00PM Sunday, December 2, 2018 at Griffin Funeral Chapel with Bro. Bud Calhoun officiating.

Visitation is 6:00-8:00PM Saturday at the funeral home.

Burial at Hickory Grove Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to: Lincoln County Relay for Life, PO Box 69, Star City, AR 71667.

Pallbearers are Richard Shumake, Chad Harrison, Steven Kesterson, Joey Harrison, Brian Harrison, Tyler Harrison, John Harrison, Austin Phillips, Sonny Phillips and Hayden Harrison.
