BELLA VISTA — *G* Gerald Harrell, 63, of Bella Vista died Dec. 29, 2001, at the Cancer Treatment Center of America in Tulsa, Okla. He was born Sept. 28, 1938, in Parker County, Texas, to Ewell J. and Irene Mahan Harrell. He worked for Texas Utilities for more than 34 years before his retirement in 1992, when he moved to Milwaukee, Wis. He worked at Selmens Power Corp. before retiring to Arkansas in 1994. He was a member of the First United Methodist Church and the Methodist Men's Club of Bella Vista, the Bella Vista Crime Watch, the Bella Vista Computer Club and was a lifetime member of the NRA. His hobbies included shooting sports, woodworking and genealogy.

Survivors include his wife, Ernestine Harrell of Bella Vista, to whom he was married 42 years; his mother, Irene Wright of Weatherford, Texas; two sons, Todd Harrell and wife Patty of Collinsville, Okla., and Keith Harrell Steward and wife Cheree of Bella Vista; one grandson, Cameron Harrell of Collinsville.

Services will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at the First United Methodist Church in Bella Vista with the Rev. Larry Williams and the Rev. Wayne Bartruff officiating.

Visitation will be from 3 to 9 p.m. Wednesday at Bella Vista Funeral Home. The family will receive friends from 6 to 9 p.m.

Burial will be in Bella Vista Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Cancer Treatment Center-Tulsa, Attm: Susan Magill, 2408 E. 81st St., Tulsa, Okla. 74137.
