BLAINE, Wash. — David Wesley Miser, 44, of Blaine died April 8, 2002, at Colguitlam, British Columbia. He was born Nov. 22, 1957, in Bentonville to John David and Opal Marie Hicks Miser. He was a 1976 graduate of Pea Ridge High School, where he played the tuba in the school band, was a member of the 4-H Club and the Chess Club, of which he was a champion chess player. He was employed by Phillips 66 Co. He was a member of the First Baptist Church in Gruver, Texas, and enjoyed playing guitar.
Survivors include one son, Wesley Miser of Gruver; one daughter, Sarah Miser of Gruver; his parents of Pea Ridge; two sisters, Viola Hazelwood and Verna Schwyhart, both of Rogers; three brothers, Jordan Miser of Spearman, Texas, Phillip Miser of Fritch, Texas, and Hugh Miser of Long Beach, Calif.
A memorial service will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Brightwater United Methodist Church with the Rev. Mary Love Loftis officiating.
Arrangements are by Sisco Funeral Home in Pea Ridge.
