Thelma Pauline Boatenhammer, 84, of Lakeland, Fla., died Feb. 7, 2010. A native of Saffell, she was the daughter of Alvin and Lucy Prince Perrin.
She lived in Florida for several years before returning to Arkansas. She lived in Lynn and Jonesboro before moving back to Lakeland. She was an educator and a member of the Church of Christ.

She was preceded in death by her husband, James Bryan Boatenhammer; a son, Larry Boatenhammer; and four sisters.

Survivors include a daughter, Linda Troupe and husband Lee, Lakeland, Fla.; a son, Jim Boatenhammer and wife Donna, Lakeland, Fla.; a sister, Velda Goff, Smithville; two grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

Funeral will be Friday at 2 p.m. at House-Gregg Funeral Home in Lynn with Kenny Townsley officiating.

Burial will be in Dry Creek Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Keith Goff, Ricky Goff, Charles Goff, Bill Jackson, Burl Bristow and Eddie Russell. Visitation will be Thursday from 6-8 p.m. at the funeral home in Lynn.
