Died August 2, 2002, Gassville, Baxter County, Arkansas.
Daughter of Edward Franklin "Eddard" Parnell & Maude Rosetta Hager Parnell.
Married (1) Carl B. Finley, Jr., March 21, 1944, Mountain Home, Baxter County, Arkansas.
Married (2) Wilmer Spear, February 10, 1985, Norfork, Baxter County, Arkansas.
(She is buried beside her first husband, and the grave is marked with the Finley surname.)

A funeral for Mabel R. Spear of Salesville will be 2PM Saturday at Norfork Church of Christ with burial in Galatia Cemetery. Mrs. Spear passed away Wednesday, Aug 7, 2002, at Gassville Nursing Center at the age of 78. There will be no visitation.
She was born June 6, 1924, at Norfork to Edward and Maude Hager Parnell. She was a lifetime area resident. She was an inspector for Travenol Lab, now Baxter Healtcare. She married Wilmer Spear on Feb 10, 1985, at Norfork. She was a member of Norfork Church of Christ. She enjoyed reading, traveling and being a mom and mamaw.
She is survived by her husband, Wilmer Spear of the home; one son, Joe Bill Finley and wife, Kaye, of Beebe; two daughters, Linda Qualls and husband, Louis, and Donna Horn and husband, Henry, all of Salesville; 15 grandchildren; 11 great granchildren; one sister, Bonnie Hughes of Norfork. She was preceded in death by her parents, first husband, two brothers and one sister.
Memorials may be made to Paragould Children's Home or Norfork Church of Christ.
Arrangements are by Roller Funeral Home.
