McANDREW, Malinda PERRY - Thursday evening, October 8th, Mrs. Joseph McAndrew passed away after an illness of five weeks. The deceased, whose maiden name was Miss Malinda Perry, was born in Alabama, April 10th, 1818. She united with the Methodist church in 1840 and after that time lived a true and consistent Christian life. In 1840 she was married to Joseph McAndrew and nine children were the fruit of this union, of whom our fellow townsman is one. Mr. and Mrs. McAndrew moved to this state in 1849. Funeral services were held at the residence of her son, J.G. McAndrew, with whom she made her home, Friday afternoon, conducted by Rev. W.B. Johnsey, after which the remains were interred in the Barron cemetery near the city.
