McANDREW, Ethel L MORRISON - Ethel L. McAndrew (nee Morrison) was born in this county, Feb. 5th, 1859, married Jan. 9th, 1878, died at her home in Bentonville Nov. 9, 1895. She was converted Oct. 1880, joined the M.E. Church and lived a faithful member till her death. She was a woman of extraordinary intellect and had a well stored mind. She was very humble and meek in her christian life and had a decided aversion to show or pretension. She was every whit what she professed to be. Sincerity was one of the characteristics of her life. She requested that there be no eulogy pronounced over her remains and that her funeral services be a modest one, held in the home where she died. In her afflictions she was very patient. Though her sickness lasted several years she never murmured nor complained. The funeral was conducted at her home Nov. 10th at 12:30 by the writer, assisted by Rev. D.C. Boggs and her remains were interred in the Barron cemetery in the presence of a large crowd. The bereaved ones have the sympathy of their many friends. S.F. Goddard, P.C.
