Granville Stewart Bohannan, 76, of Rt. 3, Huntsville, died at Rogers Memorial Hospital Thursday. He was born Aug. 7, 1898 at Rock House.

He was a member of the Free Will Baptist Church of Clifty.

He is survived by a son, Ellis Bohannan, Rt. 3, Huntsville; two daughters, Mrs. Bud Birchfield, Bentonville and Mrs. Floyd Ball, Rogers; a sister, Mrs. Levi Fanning, Springdale; 13 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Monday at the Free Will Baptist Church of Clifty with the Rev. John D. Birchfield officiating. Burial will be in the Clifty Cemetery under the direction of Nelson Funeral Home of Berryville.

MRS. GRANVILLE BOHANNAN
Mrs. Mertie Alice Bohannan, 67, of Clifty, died Friday in the hospital here. She was born De. 20, 1896 at Metalton, the daughter of George Burks and Emmaline Taylor Burks, and was a member of the Freewill Baptist Church at Clifty.

Survivors include her husband, Granville Bohannan, of the home; two daughters, Mrs. Bud Birchfield of Bentonville, and Mrs. Floyd Ball of Rogers; one brother, Jess Burks of Springdale; four sisters, Mrs. Onie Littrell of Lowell; Julia Meeker of Springdale, Mrs. Fred Evans of Eureka Springs and Mrs. Elsie Burk of Eureka Springs; and 12 grandchildren.

Funeral services were held Monday at 2 p.m. at the Freewill Baptist Church, Clifty, with Rev. Noel Easterling, officiating. Burial was in the Clifty cemetery under the direction of Nelson Funeral Home of Berryville.
