Elsie Irene Bohannan, 78, of Huntsville died July 22, 2007, at Brighton Ridge Nursing Center in Eureka Springs. She was born Sept. 3, 1928, in Hindsville to Sherman and Mary Martin Dorsey. She was a homemaker and a Baptist. She was preceded in death by her husband, Willard Bohannan, on Sept. 28, 1988, one son, Gary E. Bohannan, on April 9, 2000, and one daughter, Patricia A. Brasher, on Feb. 8, 1984.
Survivors include one son, James W. Bohannan and wife Wilma of Huntsville; two sisters, Mildred Shockley of Joplin, Mo., and Phyllis Higginbotham of Noel, Mo.; several grandchildren; and great-grandchildren.
A graveside service was held July 23 at Huntsville Cemetery with the Rev. Butch Bolinger officiating. Arrangements were by Brashears Funeral Home, Huntsville.
