Born July 1, 1894, Independence County, Arkansas.
Died May 20, 1968, Mountain Home, Baxter County, Arkansas.
Daughter of Benjafer and Mary Missouri Sandefur.
Married William Henry Hager, April 14, 1915.
Mrs. Lucy May Hager, 73, of Norfork, the wife of Henry Hager, died at a local hospital on Monday. She was a native of AR and a longtime resident of this county, and a member of the Church of Christ.
Survivors include her husband Henry Hager, and a son Wayne Hager, both of Norfork; two brothers, Luther Sandefur and Ernest Sandefur, both of Sulfur Rock (Independence County); four grandchildren and eight great grandchildren.
Mrs. Hager was born in Independence County on July 4, 1894, the daughter of Benjafer Sandefur and Mary Missouri Sandefur. She resided in Baxter County most of her life and was married to Mr. Hager on April 14, 1915.
Funeral services are scheduled for 2:30PM today (Thursday) at Norfork Church of Christ. Bro Bill Richardson, minister of the Mt. Home Church of Christ, will officiate. Interment will be in the Galatia Cemetery, east of Norfork, with the McClureservice directing arrangements.
