Euel Donald Beard, 92, of Bentonville, died Friday, Feb. 26, 1993 at Bates Medical Center.
He was born Oct. 27, 1900 in Washington County to Thomas Beard and Elizabeth Sharp Beard. He was manager of Stewart Citrus Association in Upland, Calif., for 35 years. He lived in California for 54 years, moving back to this area in 1992 from Sun City, Calif.
Survivors are his wife, Oma Brown Beard; two daughters, Betty McFarlane of Walnut, Calif., and Peggy Bechtel of Bentonville; five grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
Graveside service is set for 2 p.m. Monday at Spring Creek Cemetery northwest of Springdale with Lee Norman officiating. Visitation is set for 2-4 p.m. Sunday at Callison-Lough Funeral Home in Bentonville. Memorials may be made to NARTI, P.O. Box 6760, Springdale, 72766.

Fort Collins, Colo.---Oma Beard, 94, formerly of Bentonville, died April 5, 2001, in Fort Collins, Colo. She was born Feb. 2, 1907, in Washington County to John and Minnie Kelly Brown. She lived 56 years in Upland, Calif., before moving to Arkansas and, in 1998, to Colorado. She was preceded in death by her husband, Euel "Don" Beard on Feb. 26, 1993.
Survivors include two daughters, Betty McFarlane and Peggy Bechtel, both of Fort Collins; one half brother, Joe Brown of Lowell; two half sisters, Lorene Harris and Velma Patterson, both of Bentonville; five grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren.
Graveside services will be at 11 a.m. Monday in Spring Creek Cemetery, northwest of Springdale, with the Rev. Lee Norman officiating.
Arrangements are by Callison-Lough Funeral Home of Bentonville. Visitation will be from 2-4 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
