Martha Jane Fyfe Walker, age 89, of Jacksonville passed away on December 15, 2015. She was born April 14, 1926 in Oil Trough, Arkansas. She graduated valedictorian from Judsonia High School, followed by Draughn's Business School in Little Rock on a scholarship work study program. She lived in Jacksonville 61 years many of those working as a bookkeeper for her husband's business Walker's Radiator. A lifelong gardening enthusiast and was a 50+ year member of the Jacksonville Garden Club and a qualified flower show judge and won blue ribbons at National Flower Conventions. She spent her final 2 years living in assisted living in Cabot.
She is survived by her three children; Ray, Barbara and Jerry, seven grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., Friday, December 18, 2015 at Moore's Jacksonville Funeral Home.
Funeral services will be 10:00 a.m., Saturday, December 19, 2015 at First United Methodist Church in Jacksonville. Interment will follow in Chapel Hill Memorial Park.
