Wilburn Allen Palmore Sr., 89, of 1006 N. 8th St., died Tuesday morning at a Rogers nursing home.

He was born Jan. 30, 1886, in Meridian, Miss. He moved to Hiwasse in 1940 as a farmer and moved to Rogers after retiring in 1969. He was a member of the Southside Church of Christ.

He is survived by a daughter, Mrs. Arline Tacker of Maysville, Okla.; five sons, W. A. Palmore Jr. of Rogers, Roy and Bob Palmore both of Bentonville, Foy Palmore of Noel, Mo., and Lindon Palmore of Wichita, Kan.; two sisters, Mrs. Augusta Wright of Stephenville, Tex., and Mrs. Florence Morehead of Aliceville, Ala.; 12 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren.

Services will be 10 a. m. Friday at the Southside Church of Christ in Rogers, conducted by Jack Garner, minister. Burial will be in Mount Pleasant Cemetery near Hiwasse under the direction of Burns Funeral Home of Bentonville.

Bentonville-(Special)- Mrs. Annie Palmore, 52, wife of Allen Palmore of Bentonville, Route 3, died this morning about 12:55 o'clock in the Bates Memorial Hospital in Bentonville.

Funeral arrangements will be announced by the Callison-McKinney Funeral Home.
