BENTONVILLE — Verna Marie Palmore, 66, of Bentonville died Feb. 11, 2008. She was born June 7, 1941, in Santa Ana, Calif.

Survivors include two sons, Russell Rowe of Centerton and Larry Rowe of Rogers; two brothers, Jerry and Larry Bockmon; a sister, Sandy Porter; and three grandchildren.

Cremation arrangements are by the Backstrom-Pyeatte Funeral Home in Springdale.

ROGERS — Melba Joan Rowe, 69, of Rogers died Thursday, Jan. 7, 2016, at her residence. She was born Jan. 11,1946, in Buckner, Mo., the daughter of Mary Ellen Johnson and Everett Steward.

The best part of Melba's Life was having Christ and loving her children, and spending quality time with them all. Melba never met a stranger, and she had many friends. She was a member of The First Assembly of God of Rogers.

She had lived in the Northwest Arkansas area since 1971 after moving from Independence, Mo. She was an inspector in the Poultry Industry for many years.

Melba was preceded in death by: her parents, two brothers, and one sister. Survivors include: one son; Kenneth Miller Jr. and his wife Donna, of Kansas, two daughters; Michelle DeChaine and her husband Kevin, of Pearl, Miss., Katrina Arnold and her husband Ronald, of Pineville, Mo., 10 grandchildren, and numerous great-grandchildren.
