SIKES, T.W. - The body of T.W. Sikes, who died Friday in the State Hospital at Little Rock, arrived here Sunday and funeral services were held that afternoon at the Central M.E. church. Burial was at the Oakley Chapel cemetery, beside the grave of his wife who died some 28 years ago. Mr. Sikes, who was 89 years old, was a younger brother of Uncle Wade Sikes of Rogers and was one of the early settlers of this section. Until a year or so ago he lived at Osage Mills with his son, Bob Sikes, but owing to a physical breakdown it was found necessary to send him to the State Hospital. He is survived by three sons and two daughters: Bob Sikes of Osage Mills; Cyrus Sikes of Duenweg, Mo.; Will Sikes, who had been in the A.E.F. whose address is unknown; Mrs. Nannie Pearson, Seligman, Mo. and Mrs. J.B. Atkisson, Rogers.
