September 18, 1900 - January 16, 1970
Mrs. Norma Calvert Brown, 69, of Rt. 1, Magnolia, died Friday morning in a Magnolia hospital. Mrs. Brown was the widow of Elmer Jay Brown of Magnolia. She was born Sept. 18, 1900 in Brinkley and was the daughter of Joel S. and Avaellen Nichols Calvert. Survivors include a son, Elmer Brown, Jr., of Magnolia; two daughters, Mrs. Alvin C. McClain of McNeil and Mrs. C. M. Amason of Magnolia; six grandchildren and three great grandchildren. Funeral arrangements will be announced by Rumph Mortuary. (El Dorado Times - January 16, 1970)
